The Clive Arms features beautifully decorated rooms with elegant furnishings, creating a cozy atmosphere. The common areas are inviting and accessible, making it easy for seniors like myself to enjoy both comfort and mobility throughout our stay.
More consideration for senior-friendly amenities would help.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful room where the bath salts for the soak was a real treat and the selection of tea was an unexpected joy
It wasn't cheap but for the quality we received it was fair

We loved our stay with our two dogs! The warm welcome was fantastic, and the locally-sourced menu at the food hall was a treat. The room was spacious and comfy, nestled right by lovely local shops. Such a delightful spot for families!
My kids wished there was a play area for them to enjoy.

The room exceeded expectations with spaciousness and cleanliness. Luxurious toiletries and high-quality linens made for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the tea selection provided, though the coffee could have offered more variety. Dinner at the restaurant impressed with an excellent dining atmosphere and delicious food. breakfast service was a bit disorganized, leading to delays in orders. Despite this, the restaurant staff remained friendly and attentive.

Consider requesting a room on the second floor to avoid early morning noise and heat issues from the parking lot.

missingWrote a review on Sept 25spacious roomsexceptional foodcomplicated menuincorrect ordersovercooked eggs
Spacious rooms with ample coffee-making facilities and a cozy mini fridge were highlights during my stay. The sumptuous dinner and exceptional food presentation were memorable, particularly the wonderful ham hock. Unfortunately, breakfast had serious hiccups, with incorrect orders and overcooked eggs that overshadowed earlier dining experiences. The menu also felt unnecessarily complicated.

missingWrote a review on Sept 18elegant furnishingscharming accommodationslocal attractionsheating issuespricey dining
Heating issues in my room made for an uncomfortable stay. it was overly hot and humid, disrupting sleep. Dining experiences left room for improvement, with inconsistent food quality and high prices, especially for gluten-free options. Breakfast felt less personal, as you share the dining space with the public, which diminished the sense of exclusivity.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with a spacious classic twin room and the perfect tea and coffee setup. The cozy garden area was great for relaxing with a book, and the patio was lovely for some fresh air. It's a minor point, but the lounge could use a bit more warmth for a cozier vibe. Definitely consider sampling the breakfast options here! 😊

We had dinner in a private room, perfect for a group of ten, really felt intimate. The food was excellent, like that duck breast, cooked perfectly, just melts in your mouth.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it for the experience.
